Suspension Tech Specialist (MTB & Motorsports)

Position Overview:

Are you mechanically inclined and passionate about mountain biking and motorsports? We are looking for a Suspension Technician to join our team and take part in the exhilarating world of bike and motorsport suspension. In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and setting up suspensions while meeting productivity goals. Responsibilities

  • Perform complete tear down and rebuild of suspensions
  • Clean and inspect all internal and external assemblies for wear or damage
  • Ensure proper function and quality standards are adhered to as set by manufacturers
  • Follow all operational processes and procedures
  • Provide fantastic customer service and cover shop hours
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations
  • Engage in additional tasks such as suspension sales, shipping/receiving, and responding to customer inquiries

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Proficient in using tools without damaging products
  • Quick learner with a strong grasp of product knowledge and procedures
  • Capable of understanding and executing detailed instructions from Supervisors, Engineers, or Racers
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Competent computer skills for database use, invoicing, and online searches
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet productivity goals, and enjoy working with a dynamic team
  • Ability to work independently while delivering great customer service
  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a suspension technician or in mechanical engineering (bicycle and/or motorsport)
  • Positive attitude and a desire to work in a supportive and fun team environment

Key to Success

  • Ensure timely repairs by following the schedule and being punctual
  • Inspect, clean, and repair products to ION2 standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Coordinate with the Service Manager on any issues or part orders
  • Empower yourself to ensure our clients have maximum fun and safe rides
