EXT’s finest coil shock… without the coil. The new ARIA V2 combines coil-like sensitivity and support with the tuning freedom of air, using EXT’s patented AS3 dual-positive air chamber system. With reduced friction, improved frame compatibility, Hydraulic Bottom-Out Control and dedicated Enduro/E-Bike and DH versions, ARIA V2 is a major evolution of EXT’s air shock platform.

“The best money you will spend on your snowmobile is on your suspension,” Harrington said. “The performance of the shocks are a step up from stock. I get suspension performance in all the terrain I get into.

“I had no idea how much more fun, safe and solid it was to drive Daisy with turned-up suspension,” said McGrath. “It was kind of like having a chronic bad headache that you had gotten used to and then it just ended suddenly. Jonathan showed me a bag of bad parts and went into detail on how and why my ride was so tooth-jarring. Jonathan also showed me where my factory settings were and how to adjust my suspension for different terrain. I noticed a difference in the way she handled just loading her on the trailer. All the sloppiness in the handling is completely gone. She hugs corners. I can go into a corner way faster with more confidence and come out of it way faster and with a way bigger grin on my face. Washboard used to rattle my fillings out, now it’s barely noticeable. She absorbs big dips and bumps like a champion as well."

Are you a few kilometers overdue for an oil change? Holding your breath, hoping to make it to the shop before the check engine light comes on? Aren’t we all? But owning a vehicle means setting time and money aside for maintenance. Sure, you can push it off, but eventually, the wear and tear of moving parts will catch up with you. And the result of avoiding regular maintenance is, more often than not, a high repair bill. The same is true for servicing mountain bike and motorsport suspensions.

Sure, there is something to be said about the simplicity of a bike without suspension. They climb like a freaking mountain goat! But watch out for those donkey-kicking descents. Today, only a glutton for punishment would choose that rough ride over the smooth performance of a dual-suspension.

Are you looking for something to surprise the mountain biker in your life? The perfect present for that friend who lives and breathes to bike. Or, for the spouse, who just talked about re-mortgaging your house to buy the new Norco Range. Don’t worry, gift-giving doesn’t have to break the bank.
