THE BEST UPGRADE FOR YOUR ELECTRIC DIRT-BIKE
With the growing popularity of electric dirt bikes, the new FERRO USD 36 was created to deliver top performance and fully unlock the potential of E-MX bikes.
Featuring 36 mm steel stanchions, 7000 series aluminum construction, and 205 mm of travel, the FERRO ensures high stiffness and low friction, taking your riding experience to the next level.
The FERRO USD36 is the front suspension upgrade built specifically for electric dirt bikes. Not adapted — purpose-built. EXT took their decades of know-how from MX, WRC, and MTB suspension and engineered something from the ground up for the demands of e-moto: more torque at the wheel, heavier chassis loads, and riders who push harder because the motor never gets tired.
The result is an upside-down dual-crown fork with 36mm hard chromed steel stanchions (heat-treated 42CrMo4 with Superfinish surface treatment), 7000 series aluminum upper legs, 205mm of travel, and 44mm offset. The HS3 hybrid air spring — twin positive chambers working with a self-equalizing negative chamber — delivers the mid-stroke support and sensitivity EXT is known for, scaled up for the rigors of e-moto riding. The CGB (Continuously Guided Bushing) DU system gives you maximum torsional stiffness through the stroke with zero stiction.
Available with your choice of Flat Crown or Drop Crown to match your bike's geometry. 20mm boost-compatible axle included. Compatible with stock fender designs on most platforms.
Note: A boost rotor spacer is required on most bikes. If you're not sure, reach out before ordering — we'll confirm your setup.
Specs
- 36mm hard chromed steel stanchions (heat treated 42CrMo4) with Superfinish surface treatment
- Dedicated design triple clamp uppers machined from 7000 series aluminum
- HS3 air spring system: featuring twin positive air system ¬+ 1 large negative self-balancing air chamber, providing an optimum level of support through the entire travel range.
- Chromed steel air spring shaft with Superfinish surface treatment
- High-flow 3-way adjustable cartridge with independent High/Low speed compression and rebound adjustments
- External air pressure release valve system on both legs to normalize pressure with ambient environment.
